In honor of Martin Luther King day, I have posted a quick video in my previous post that will remind everyone why we celebrate this holiday...
This week we are still focusing on grammar skills, idioms, but adding adages and proverbs. We will be looking at common adages and proverbs and practicing how to use context clues to figure out their meaning. We will be looking at plot and reviewing the plot diagram. We will also learn about mood and how an author's use of language affects the mood of a story.
We finished up our animal adaptation and behaviors in science and will be learning about the interactions of organisms in an ecosystem. This will lead us to changes in an ecosystem and how it can be beneficial or hinder an organism in that environment.
Grade cards will go home this week...
