We are working HARD!!!
We are half way through our "Stone Fox" book and the kids are becoming pros at finding evidence to support their themes, characters, and setting. Today we worked on a Stone Fox Webquest with my afternoon language arts class and tomorrow the morning class will do the same. The kids did a great job scanning and looking for information.
We are working on our Daily Grammar and have a spelling list this week. we are practicing using words with the suffixes ful and ness. Students are to write their words tonight and do the backside of the practice page. Tomorrow they will write a creative narrative based on a picture. Students will use at least ten words from their spelling list. This will be due on Thursday. We will quiz over ten of the words and our essential grammar skills on Friday.
We are learning about Earth's processes in science. We are studying erosion, weathering, and deposition and will do some labs this week.
FEBRUARY BIOGRAPHY BOOK PROJECTS are due next Monday, March 3rd. I have already had quite a few students turn their projects in...lookin' great!!
