We are continuing our prefixes, suffixes, and rootword study and have been creating video games to practice learning the meanings of the word parts (check out my resources page for the link). We are still working through theme and will learn author's purpose for writing as well.
In science we are writing narratives about an animal who goes through an ecosystem change. The students have come up with awesome, creative ideas that they are ready to develop into stories with a clear beginning, middle and end. There will be a quiz Thursday over ecosystems.
Please keep in mind that Blizzard Bags #1 & #2 are due THIS Wednesday, February 12th.
