Week of October 7-11th

I can't believe that it is 9:00 pm and I am just now finding the time to sit and blog a bit. Yes, my day was that busy. I honestly meant to do this much earlier...

Today (Monday, October 7th) we finished the book Owen Foote: Mighty Scientist.  We concluded with book graffiti on a lab coat, an AR test, and vocabulary review on Quizlet. We will be taking an end of the book review in class tomorrow.
We will also be finishing our persuasive postcards and reviewing point of view this week. We will do another QR code activity on Thursday...devices are welcome!!!
Please remember to stay on top of reading the mystery book for this month's book project. Remember to count the time spent reading on October's monthly minutes.

We finished our Scientific Inquiry unit with a fun experiment with gummy bears last week. This week, before we begin our Life Science unit, we will be learning about nonfiction text features. We will use our science books to practice text features, which will then lead us into classification.

Enjoy the pics!
