We are finishing our mystery books this week and wrapping up our inference study in reading. We have been learning about writing in complete sentences and making sure that our sentences contain a subject and a predicate. Our November/December book project will be introduced on Thursday, which is library day. Students will be able to check out their nonfiction book for their project.
We are learning about plant adaptations and functions in Science this week. We will also be learning about animal classification and adaptations.
Last week we took an AWESOME field trip to the Environmental classroom. We were able to perform science experiments and learn about our environment. We also enjoyed the trip to the landfill.
Spending the day with Mr. Wyrick was amazing! He taught us all about history. We were able to make leather pouches, pottery, and practice throwing spears. We learned a lot!
